    LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION: This is true particularly so for 80|50 which is located adjacent and to the Village and it many stores and restaurants. And as a skier, the location to the gondola to Canyon Lodge is moments away. This is priceless.

    FEATURES: In addition to being provided a storage unit, which we use for skies, 80|50 provides a very convenient location for owners to simply pick your skies on the short walk to the gondola.

    The entire property is maintained meticulously. It is always clean, fresh, and welcoming. When you enter the warm lobby, after parking in the underground garage, and proceed to your Unit - you feel very comfortable, and you enter the warm and well-maintained unit.

    There are 3 rooftop outdoor hot tubs with great views. Also, on the roof level there is an excellent fitness center, showers, sauna and steam room. There is also a "living room" that is nice to enjoy a glass of wine or an alternative space.

    SERVICE: Consistently the entire staff are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

    ELITE ALLIANCE: As an owner you are a member of Elite Alliance, which is an alliance of many desirable properties that you can exchange with your 80|50 credits. Our experience from Mexico, Palm Springs, Sedona... -and other desirable properties with similar high standards of 80|50 - makes for a very nice option.”

Having been in real estate for 60 years, one of the axioms in the business is location, location, location. No property has what we have in terms of access to the gondola, nobody. You will notice the quality throughout the property is first class and the people who maintain the property from the front desk to the management to the maintenance are all first-class people who make our stay like being at home.   • "What we like about 80|50:

    Actually, it’s more like what we love about 8050. We could easily write several pages here so briefly & more specifically, it fits our vacation needs both in winter and the summer and has the added benefit of being a member of the Elite vacation program. We bought at 8050 because we wanted a reliable, stable and affordable vacation home in Mammoth. We also wanted to be in the North Village. 80|50 provided all that we were looking for plus the Elite programs gives us further flexible when we vacation elsewhere which we love.

    The Management at 8050 does a wonderful job both at making us feel at home and in managing & maintaining the buildings. We have owned since 2021, and the condition of the condominiums & common areas has remained excellent, and management is always friendly and helpful. When we arrive, we know we have arrived home and it’s a great feeling!!

    Because of 80|50’s location we are able to walk to the gondola in winter and ride our bicycles nearly everywhere in summer which we love. About the only time we drive is if we are treating our doggy to the park, grocery shopping or golfing.

    So far as financing is concerned, there are 1, 2 &3 bedroom condominiums of which we purchased a typical 2-bedroom condominium fractional interest. We liked the availability of either doing a small mortgage or paying cash and getting a real deed, and not borrowing probably $700,000 for a comparable 2 bedroom in some other part of town which we would’ve then have had to manage. We personally paid cash for the fractional interest at 8050 and find the HOA to be much more manageable and useful especially for the Elite program.

    80|50 offers way more than what I described above and in the years as an owner, our happiness at owning here has only increased, and so my advice would be to chat with management to learn more than what I’ve described above at owning at 80|50 if you are serious about having quality vacations and owning an asset that has a good intrinsic value."

  • “In all of our adult years, we have not purchased anything that ended-up being a better purchase than we could have anticipated - until we purchased a unit buy-in at 80|50.

    Our tax attorney is very wary of any of his clients buying into time-shares or into fractional ownerships but what he had no way of knowing is how exceptionally open 80|50 is to allowing extra time and usage, how 80|50 works to switch around scheduled weeks, how 80|50 has exceptional amenities and prime location that cannot be duplicated by any other type of ownership in Mammoth (private or fractional), etc. We previously owned both a house and a condo in very desirable locations in Mammoth Lakes, but for accessibility to gondola, ease of parking, cleaned and fully-stocked luxury living spaces, proximity to restaurants and already heated rooftop Jacuzzis - 80|50 cannot be matched.

    We only wish that our professions allowed us more time at 80|50 because we absolutely love any time spent there. It is our schedules that limit usage, not any constraints from 80|50. It is just wonderful to know that 80|50 will always do anything they can possibly do to accommodate any last-minute visit requests from us.

    We are not sure that we want to leave this kind of rave review because we are not sure that we want to share this wonderful place with too many more additional owners. But we were asked to leave an honest review and 80|50 certainly deserves this kind of review.”

  • "I have great praise for 80|50 as it’s a great deal if you ski and hike in the summer. We also fish in the streams and lake Crowley. What is so great about 80|50 besides excellent management, is the fact it’s the only property in the village where you walk across a short bridge and jump on the gondola to Canyon lodge. There is a no project across the street for millions, and they don’t have a bridge to walk across, how’s that for convenience!!

    Management is wonderful and very accommodating as well. Can’t say enough good things about them along with how well they keep the units up."
